How to use the interactive stack viewer

1-Toolbar:

The toolbar is available at the bottom of the viewer It offers many features:

1.    Full Mode: toggle screen normal/full mode

2.    High Quality Button: load HQ version of the current shown Image.

3.    Pan Button: when selected you can drag the Image. 4.    Zoom Out Button

5.    Reset Zoom Button

6.    Zoom In Button

7.    Window/Level Button: when selected while button down move horizontal to set Level and move vertical to set Window.

8.    Reset Window/Level Button

9.    Description Button: show/hide Description Window.

10.    Show Annotation Button: show/hide Annotation.

11.    MPR Mode Button: when selected three views are shown axial, sagittal and coronal

2-Thumbnails:

In case that several image stacks are loaded, a left panel appears with all image stacks available with a thumbnail preview. When you hover over the thumbnail a description popup window appears. To select a stack click on the thumbnail. 

3-Image panel

The image stack loads in the Image panel on the right. The panel is set by deafualt to normal view but can be also set to MPR view by clicking on the MPR button (11) from the toolbar.

You can scroll through the image stack by using either your scroll wheel of your mouse, using the up and down keys of your keyboard or use the scroll bar to the left of the image panel. By default, the slices are loaded dynamically through each level you are scrolling through. Thus, scroll through the entire stack on the axial plane to get the full data set of your reconstructions.

When the viewer is In MPR mode, three plane windows are shown axial, sagittal and coronal.

In axial view there are two lines blue and red, the blue line controls the coronal view and the red line controls the sagittal view. In coronal view there are two lines red and green, the red line controls the sagittal view and the green line controls the axial view. In sagittal view there are two lines blue and green, the blue line controls the coronal view and the green line controls the axial view.

In MPR mode, a number window appears in the toolbar next to the MPR button. The number can be changed to change the slice thickness and stretch or squeeze the coronal and sagittal planes if necessary.

 

4-Additional features:

Double click on the image to show it in full mode.

Right mouse click to show the menu. The mouse menu allows accessing most of the features of the toolbar.
