HandyRad - A Web-based Patient Tracking Tool for Radiology Education and Research

Presented at the International Congress of Radiology (ICR)

We are happy to announce that HandyRad and Radiolopolis just have joined their forces: Radiolopolis members are now able to use HandyRad's features for free and directly from the Radiolopolis website.

HandyRad Patient Tracker for Radiology Education and ResearchWhat is HandyRad? It can be difficult to track interesting cases for teaching files or research. Traditionally, the patient's data is written down on a piece of paper & sometimes it will be put in a more organized way. Often, however, it is lost. A quick & easy, HIPPA compliant way is desired to track patients & save pertinent information for education & research.

HandyRad is an online program, which allows the user to easily add pertinent information for patient tracking in form of a template. Image upload is also possible. Categorizations & search functions allow for easy finding the desired case. Categorizations include but are not limited to age, gender, body regions, modality & can be also used for research purposes. HIPPA compliant export functions save the user time & allow to save the cases as teaching files & for research data exchange.
